Grrabit! is a minimalist grocery list app. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the app.
Information We Collect
Voice Data
When you use the voice input feature, your speech is processed locally on your device or by the platform's speech recognition service (Web Speech API on web, native speech recognition on mobile). We do not record, store, or transmit your voice audio to our servers.
Grocery List Data
The items you add to your grocery list, your preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device using Capacitor Preferences. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share or export it.
Optional AI Features
If you enable AI-powered features (via Google Gemini), text from your list may be sent to Google's servers to process your request. We do not retain this data.
How We Use Information
- Voice Data: Used only to transcribe your speech into text in real time.
- List Data: Stored locally so you can access your lists across sessions.
- Preferences: Stored locally to remember your app settings.
Data Storage & Security
All your grocery lists and preferences are stored locally on your device. No account, login, or cloud sync is required. We do not have access to your data.

The app uses the following services which have their own privacy policies:
